FKCCI MSME Innovation Excellence Awards were instituted in 2014 to recognize and celebrate innovative enterprises in Industry, Service and Business Sectors in the MSME category.
The Awards give an opportunity to shine in the domestic and overseas market for their innovativeness. The Awards recognize all kinds of new idea, product, process, technology, model, or a service or a combination of these factors which have the ability to fuel growth in industry.
The Theme of FKCCI MSME – Innovation Excellence Awards – 2021 is innovation in the year on Covid-19 Pandemic. The effect of innovation should be during financial year 2020-21 as evidenced from the balance sheet or any other tangible evidence.
The entrepreneur should be able to explain what was his /her activity and how innovation has helped to make a difference, keeping in view the difficult situation faced by MSMEs.
Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FKCCI), founded in 1916 by ‘Bharat Ratna’ Sir M. Visveswaraya, is a State Level, Apex, Non-profit organization established to promote and protect the interests of Industries, Service and Trade Establishments in Karnataka. It regularly interacts with Central and State Governments on Policy Matters and common issues faced by the businessmen in the national interest and to help to promote economy of the State.
Bharat Ratna Sir. M. Visvesvaraya was an engineering genius, a visionary, a statesman and most importantly a great Institution builder. The erstwhile Mysore Chamber of Commerce founded by him on May 8th 1916 started serving the interests of the Business community since its inception. Mr W.C. Rose served as the first President of the Chambers from 1916 till 1920. The Chamber later became the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI). Over the last 100 years, the Chamber has had a distinguished array of businessmen and industrialists at the helm of FKCCI, establishing it as an apex organization for Industry, Trade & Service sectors in Karnataka.
Since its inception, the Chamber has sought to promote the national interest by way of both public and private sector led, economic growth and has played a catalytic role in policy making at the State and Central level. FKCCI today has a membership drawn from all sectors of Industry, Trade & Services.
